Mike Nielsen
​PRESIDENT AND BUILDER

Mike has a longstanding interest in construction and design. He studied Architecture/Construction Engineering Technology at Conestoga College. His career started with a Waterloo architectural firm, where he gained invaluable experience in design and drafting. Having established a solid foundation in construction, he founded Caryndale Contracting in 2007.

​Mike and his partner of over 20 years have a daughter and son. Together, they place a high priority on maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle for their family. Mike likes to be active and on the go. He prides himself in being creative, hardworking, enthusiastic, and cool under pressure.

​In his spare time, Mike enjoys exercising, playing tennis, riding his motorcycle, and managing his rental properties. He is an advocate of continued education and personal growth, for himself and for his team.​
